Weekly Newsletter for the week of 9/22/2023
In Judaics, the students continued learning about the upcoming holiday! On Tuesday 2nd and 3rd graders went to the stream to throw away our aviarot and do Tashlich.
The second grade us having a great time with The Chocolate Touch. As students read independently, they explored this fiction novel to find evidence in the text to support points of view. We wrote paragraphs about what to do on rainy days. It was fun to read all of their interesting ideas. Students completed a Unit on place value in Math. They passed the first spelling test with excellent results. Finally, we completed the Social Studies Unit on rural, urban, and suburban communities.
